installation did not succeed & missing dokumentation

Hello
Have just installed 32bit program on W7/64 as I use Outlook 2003/sp3.
First I tried to catch the messagebubble 'right clik to configure' - nothing happened.
Tried to configure via controlpanel - I could see my outlook settings, but what was I supposed to do with it?
The I uninstalled, but \programs(86)\outlookonthedesktop still remained. Trying afterwards to remove
the folder could not be done because a program was running - which one?
It was a scaring experience because afterwards Outlook was unavailable so I had to regenerate the system.
Then I could remove the folder.
I really do not know how use the program - where can I find documentation or help?

Ernan,
After you installed, did you not see your calendar on the desktop? Did you get any error messages? And yes you have to close the program via the tray icon before attempting to uninstall it.
