ootd is now open source

Outlook on the Desktop now open source!

It's been a long time coming, but I've finally bit the bullet and converted my private svn repo to a git repo and pushed the code to Github.  You can find the source code here

Once you clone the git repo, you can use Visual Studio 2010 (or 2012) to build and run the app.  Hopefully, we'll see some people fixing issues and adding new features, since free time to work on ootd has been hard to come by lately.

I will keep the donations open as it provides some help in paying for the site and bandwidth costs.

all you have to do is apply for a github account and then you can clone the source using git.  There are instructions on the site.  Once you are happy with your changes, submit a pull request and I'll have a look at merging it in.

That's interesting you moved it to open source.

I found that the only things that go wrong with it are that little overlap bug that started with 2.01 and once in a while there is a c++ error that showes up when Windows boots.

It would be nice to know when those will be fixed.

Even though outlook on the desktop is now open source will there still be posted the newest improvments on the downloads section?
